   Rhode Island Charter Fishing on a Light Tackle Boat  Pt. Judith

Come fish Rhode Island waters in a Safe and Relaxing manner on the Drifter Too.

The Difter Too sails from Point Judith Salt Pond in RI near the commercial fishing charters fleet.

For 47 years Captain Dick Chatowsky has been fishing the waters from Maine to Rhode Island to Florida, and has a wealth of fishing experience.  He and has lived in RI all his life and knows a great deal about fishing in the ocean state.  This extensive experience is the key to productive fishing charters.  On his days off, Dick still enjoys enjoys going fishing for himself, the sea is in his blood.   He has had a boat on Point Judith pond since 1962.

On the Drifter Too our main objective for the day is keeping people happy by catching fish and introducing a mood on the boat where people enjoy their time with the captain and crew, whose personalities contribute to an excellent outing.   We work hard to make sure that our clients catch fish and will go wherever we need to in RI waters order to put fish in the boat.

Located across from the fishing fleet at Galilee and Point Judith, the boat is tied up at Jim's Dock Marina in Jerusalem, RI.   Jim’s Dock is located right on Point Judith salt pond, adjacent to the Galilee Breachway. There aren’t any other marinas closer to the famous Block Island fishing grounds than Jim’s Dock.  We fish from May to December. 

We will make sure your charter is the best experience you ever had for bass, blues, tuna, shark, tautog, & fluke.

This is Our Fishing Reports Section.
 

October 25, 2009.  Captain Richard sailed with 4 anglers and caught 12 bass and 6 bluefish  with 6 keepers.  It was a tough with all the fish caught in the last 2 hours of the trip, but the captain pulled it out in the 9th inning for a great result.

October 11, 2009.  Captain Richard sailed with 5 female anglers and caught 12 bass and 14 bluefish with 8 keepers, but they only kept 5 fish and released the rest.

The Drifter Too is located at Jims Dock in Jerusalem, RI.  Jim's Dock is a great little restaurant and marina located directly across from Galilee, only minutes from the best fishing in Rhode Island.  Jim's Dock is right on Point Judith salt pond.
